Ryan Daniels says 19-year-old Ryan Maric from Box Hill Hawks impressively shed 24 kilos, making him a top contender for the West Coast Eagles’ mid-season draft via Xav and Michelle for Breakfast.

“Ryan Maric, he’s not 24 kilos overweight now, he lost that over the summer,” Ryan said on Xav and Michelle for Breakfast.
“He was 15, grew 30cm, his back just gave way…he stacked on all the weight there because he couldn’t run.”
“He is tipped to be one of the first picks..I think there is a very good chance he ends up at the Eagles at the end of the week.”
