Matildas advance to the FIFA Women’s World Cup quarter-finals with a 2-0 win against Denmark, but Elise Kellond-Knight sees room for improvement via Xav and Michelle for Breakfast.

“What a game, what a result. Couldn’t have gone any better,” Elise said on Xav and Michelle for Breakfast.
“Just to see the 75,000 in there for a female sporting event, I was in shock.”
“We have got so much improvement to make…what we produced last night was more of a tactical game but to come away with that result, I mean, that’s what a winning team does and I’m a little bit excited.”
She then talks more on Sam Kerr stepping on the field for the last 10 minutes of the game.
“She brings the team up to a new level…it’s not just the girls that feel her presence, it’s obviously the entire stadium, so when you get 75,000 people excited, it’s pretty special.”
