Nick Riewoldt Fires Up Over Jackson Archer’s Controversial Three-Game Ban

Triple M’s Nick Riewoldt believes Jackson Archer can’t be at fault following a nasty collision with Bulldogs youngster Luke Cleary on Saturday night.

“I’m fearful for the game itself if this guy gets 3 weeks for this incident …” Roo said on Triple M’s Mick In The Morning.

Cleary was knocked out after his head collided with Archer’s leg in an incident that halted the final term of the match.

The MRO graded Archer’s hit as careless, severe impact and high contact. Nick Riewoldt arguing the North defender did all he could in this complex collision.

“I don’t understand what he was meant to do. He doesn’t brace, he doesn’t slide, the only thing he does is not slow down approaching the contest … North have to appeal this.”
