Max Gawn says the Demons are “forever in debt” following the departure of President Kate Roffey, while admitting the decision to undertake an external review is a required process.
“In my head it’s not big news… I think every club should get reviewed every year,” he told Triple M Breakfast with Rosie, Wil and Daisy.

Gawn was adamant that outgoing President “can be proud of the effort she did”. Despite receiving criticism late in her tenure, Roffey was at the helm for the men’s drought-breaking president and the women’s inaugural premiership.
