Demons captain Max Gawn says Clayton Oliver’s return from hamstring injury has gone “pear-shaped”, after the midfielder was admitted to hospital for an infected blister.
“Went and dropped him a coffee and muffin off yesterday..”
Gawn telling the Marty Sheargold Show, he’s backing Oliver to overcome the injury in time for Monday’s blockbuster against Collingwood.
“Yeah, it’s Clayton. He played around 150 games in a row before this hamstring. I dare say he’s out today, and will train tomorrow.”
