Damo has claimed Hawthorn winning the flag from a 0-5 start would be more remarkable than the second-youngest AFL team to win a premiership, the Baby Bombers in 1993.

Essendon’s grand final side was an average age of 24 years and four months old, while the side Hawthorn rolled out against Carlton on the weekend was 25 years and five months old.
“That Baby Bombers team wasn’t as young as people remember it to be,” Damo said on the Midweek Rub.
“0-5 start with no expectation at all, yeah.”
