Dale Thomas ruled the Western Bulldogs out of the premiership race a fortnight ago, but they’ve since knocked off Carlton and smashed Geelong in the weeks to follow.
Today he’s retracted his comments on Triple M Footy’s Midweek Rub.
“I was the rocket they needed. And they got it, and now they’re winning,” Thomas laughed.
DAISY BACKS DOWN:
“I put my hand up, I got it wrong,” Thomas said.
Daisy admitted that it was a little bit frosty down in the Bulldogs rooms.
