NRL’s Magic Round kicks off this weekend, with up to 40,000 patrons expecting to visit from out of town, and it’s expected they’ll generate $50-$100 million of revenue.
However, Triple M Breakfast with Marto, Margaux and Dan host, Greg ‘Marto’ Martin posed the question, aside from Magic Round, where do tourists go in Brisbane?
“If you’ve got a visitor that comes to town, from overseas or out of town, what do you do? You take them to the coast, either the Sunshine Coast or the Gold Coast. Or maybe Bribie, or you take them to one of the islands… there’s nothing to do in Brisbane” said Marto.

“We love living in Brisbane – that’s why we live here. But as a tourist? I don’t think I’d ever come.” said Dan.
