The drums are beating louder by the day that Broncos captain Adam Reynolds is on the brink of a State of Origin recall.
It’s been seven years since Reynolds last donned the sky blue jersey, but with Nathan Cleary ruled out of the remainder of the series, the Broncos number 7 is in the box seat for a recall to the rep arena.
Triple M Rush Hour with Leisel Jones, Liam and Dobbo host ‘Dobbo’ revealed yesterday that Reynolds’ name has been thrown around in discussions and Reynolds told Triple M Breakfast with Marto, Margaux and Dan this morning that he’s ready to go.

“I’ve been in this position before and been overlooked. It’s still burning because of the way I exited the Origin arena. I got injured in that game two and we lost both games, it feels like unfinished business.
“I’m a more complete player now, I understand the game a lot, I know more know my role and deliver on my role. Back then I was probably immature and inexperienced. If I got the call I’d be over the moon and I’d be excited and do whatever I can.” said Reynolds.
