To celebrate the Queenslander’s NRL achievements, Queensland Rugby League created a mural to commemorate him, highlighting one of his State of Origin highlight moments in Fortitude Valley.

Hunt is tipped to be part of this year’s Maroons team, which will be named in the next week.

The Dragons Captain also commented on his club’s recent consecutive losses, telling The Rush Hour with Leisel, Liam & Dobbo he tries to not let it get to him.

“It’s getting used to blocking the noise out, it’s been around us for a while. I think it’s taken a toll on the guys in the team. We’re not far off, we’ve lost five games in a row by two points” Hunt said.
