Brisbane’s last premiership captain Darren Lockyer says Adam Reynolds could be the key for the Broncos to finally break the 17-year drought and score the premiership.
Reynolds joined the Triple M Breakfast with Marto, Margaux and Dan and commented on Lockyer’s remarks comparing him to Broncos legend Alfie Langer.

Lockyer revealed at the Brisbane launch of the NRL’s magic round his thoughts on Broncos’ taking out the trophy this season.
“While you have a half like Adam Reynolds it creates an opportunity,” he said.
“Then you throw in people like Payne Haas, Reece Walsh, Herbie Farnworth … there is a window there no doubt.
“Reynolds is the key to that as well.
“I’m not saying take out Reynolds and we can’t win, I’m just saying he is one of those generational players like Allan Langer. While they are there you make the most of it.” said Lockyer.
Reynolds said it was great to hear the feedback from such a Broncos legend.
“Pretty honoured to be named along side him (Alfie).
“Obviously it takes a lot of hard work to get there and need a little bit of luck along the way -but you know, trying to take the luck out of it and train hard,” said Reynolds.
