Olympian Leisel Jones Reconnects With Her HighSchool Swimming Rival

Olympic Gold Medallist Leisel Jones is regarded as one of the world’s greatest ever female swimmers, with nine Olympic medals under her belt, however in high school she had a rival which was known for swimming laps around her.

Jones recalled on The Rush Hour with Leisel Jones, Liam and Dobbo about how her old fellow classmate, Sarah Bowd, constantly outshone her in swimming competitions, but then took a different turn after high school, following a path into hairdressing.

“Sarah Bowd was 100% way better than I was as a junior.” Said Jones.
