Following his announcement to retire at the end of the year, West Coast Eagles Captain Luke Shuey says he thinks Tom Barrass will takeover as skipper via Rush Hour with Embers and Katie.

“Obviously TB [Tom Barrass] has been in the equation for a while and he’s our vice-captain at the moment,” Luke said on Rush Hour with Embers and Katie.
“Gonna be hard for TB to be there mate, if he’s not here [at the Eagles] next year,” Embers adds.
Luke Shuey replies, “You’re not wrong, let’s hope he’s here. But I think outside of him probably Oscar [Allen] and Duggo [Liam Duggan] are probably the two that have really shone through this year. They’re both playing exceptional footy individually…but what they’ve done off field this year, they’ve certainly been picking up a bit of the slack.”
“I wasn’t going to captain next year if I had gone around again…They’re both great people, both love the club… well, all three of them love the club… and I’m sure the right decision will be made.”
