Eagles’ Nic Naitanui has been confirmed to miss the remainder of the 2023 AFL season, with Embers suspecting a delayed placement on the inactive list due to a salary cap squeeze via Rush Hour with Embers and Katie.

“My only logical answer…I believe that the West Coast Eagles have a massive salary cap squeeze right now,” said Embers.
“I think in an ideal world, the West Coast Eagles would have absolutely loved to have used that second pick in this years mid-season draft but I don’t think they could afford it.”
“They’ve actually got no money to be able to pay a new player to come into their system.“
