Power skipper Tom Jonas dropped by the Rush Hour with Bern, Blewy and Jars and offered up insight into Jason Horne-Francis after two months of regular booing during games.
After the AFL and Collingwood got on the front foot to call out the booing of Buddy Franklin on the weekend, Jonas gave his thoughts on the difference in reactions to the 19-year-old Horne-Francis’ treatment.
“We’ve obviously been pretty vocal in this space, given that he’s been getting booed for almost the entire year,” Jonas said.
“[We] haven’t had a whole heap of apologies… we haven’t necessarily appreciated it and seen the sense behind it.
“I saw someone last night saying it’s their right to boo people but, I mean, it’s not like I walk down the street booing people.”
