Former Adelaide Crows club champion Bernie Vince reveals for the first time that Port Adelaide offered him a four-year contract in 2011 on more money.
BERNIE’S CONTRACT:

“I’ve never even really told friends about this… it was about 2011.
Triple M’s Chris Dittmar organised the meeting between Bernie and Port which took place at his house!
“Port Adelaide were keen to chat with me about going there.
“I could have gone for more (money) definitely and for like four years.”
After meeting with Port Adelaide secretly during the season, Bernie contemplated joining the cross-town rivals.
“He [Bernie’s Dad] just goes ‘shit that’s good money!'”
“I don’t know if I could play in front of tarps!”
