This morning, Australia time, Donald Trump pleaded not guilty to 37 federal charges which allege he broke the laws in hiding top secret documents in his Mar-a-Lago home.
There is a lot to unpack with the current court case and criminal charges so Flan, Ali and Spida have Channel 7’s foreign correspondent Tim Lester live from outside the courthouse to explain it all.
Tim says “There was a second case of alleged hush money that he has supposed to have paid to a playboy playmate to cover an alleged affair, Donald Trump denies these affairs by the way”.
“Those in the know I don’t think have a clue on how the court case will end up”
One of the worst parts to come out of this case is that Trump is asking for his loyal supporters to help pay his legal fees (even though he used his private jet to get to NY). Currently, there has been around 7 Million dollars in donations.
