Gary Van Egmond Seeks Ongoing Government Support For Women’s Sports

Tanya & Steve chat with Emily Van Egmond’s Dad, Gary, after the Matildas loss last night to England and what Australian politicians need to do moving forward.

LISTEN:

“We need to try and see how we can get more space to insure that players have the appropriate amount of room to perform, to train and to get better,” Gary said on Tanya & Steve.

“Unfortunately the State Government and the Federal Government have pulled their money from the sport…We were getting a lot of very, very good players coming through but that’s not the case anymore.”
