Dale Thomas was one of the big early free agency moves at the end of 2013 when he made the shock move to Carlton from arch rivals Collingwood.
And speaking to The Sunday Rub, an honest Daisy opened up on the switch – detailing some of the behind the scenes conversations that led to the move, as well as his initial disappointment towards the Pies.
DAISY OPENS UP:
“I got a call from my manager at the time Paul Connors saying.. ‘Just letting you know mate, the contract that was on the table (from Collingwood) for four years on about 600 (thousand dollars).. has been ripped up.’ “
