Triple MVP Winner Zak Butters Joins The Saturday Rub

Port Adelaide star Zak Butters has claimed the most prestigious award in footy, the Triple MVP!

He joined James Brayshaw, Billy Brownless, Bernie Vince and Damian Barrett on the Saturday Rub to claim the Triple MVP and reflect on his career-best year.

ZAK BUTTERS JOINS THE SATURDAY RUB:

The Triple MVP is voted on after each game via a 3-2-1 format by Triple M’s group of special commentators including Dale Thomas, Leigh Montagna, Simon Black and Jason Dunstall.

The past three winners of the award have gone on to win the Brownlow Medal that year.

This season, Butters has made the jump to become one of the elites of the game, averaging 27.5 disposals to go with 4.6 clearances and 6.9 score involvements for the Power.

Butters was the runaway winner with 32 votes in the Triple MVP, with Nick Daicos and Christian Petracca rounding out the podium on 26 votes.
