Jonathan Brown’s Theory On The Aftermath Of Chris Judd’s “Pressure Point” Move

Big bad Jono Brown joined the Saturday Rub this week and recalled the final when the Lions stormed home to defeat the Blues in 2009, with a Chris Judd pressure point thrown into the mix.

JONATHAN BROWN JOINS THE SATURDAY RUB

The last time the Lions and the Blues played off in a final was in 2009, when the Lions came back from five goals down thanks to a massive game from Brown and his counterpart Daniel Bradshaw.

“It’s been a while since I’ve seen that game… ‘Big Guns’ Bradshaw got a hold of them and I just helped him out with a couple.”

But the game wasn’t only famous for the comeback, but for the moment where superstar Chris Judd got Michael Rischitelli in a “pressure-point” maneouver.

The boys reminisced on Juddy’s famous pressure-point move, which famously saw a very drunk Brendan Fevola take the matter up with him on Brownlow Medal night.

“Obviously that led to Fev going off his head three weeks later.”

“If it wasn’t for Juddy’s pressure point that night, Fev wouldn’t have come to the Brisbane Lions and we would have been just fine I reckon.”
