This week, Tasmania was granted the AFL’s 19th licence but now the question looms – how will the side build its list?
On The Saurday Rub, Damo discusses the possibilities, and if a bunch of picks to take some young guns in the national draft is actually the way to go.
“The only thing we have to go off is the 2010 and 2011 drafts where the Gold Coast and GWS came into those particular years,” Damo said on The Saturday Rub.
“Gold Coast was given eight of the 10 picks and GWS was given 12 of the first 14.
“It won’t be that way this time around, whatever draft picks they’ll be given … I except them to be over several drafts but they will be required to on trade some of them too. “
