“You’re good at putting mayo on stuff and selling stuff… Joel was gonna tell us this story that has ‘never been told’.”
On FIVE separate occasions throughout the show, JB did his absolute best to hype up this exclusive Selwood story that was set to rock the footy world.
“It’s 11:20 Jim. You can stick your story and Joel’s story up your clacker, I’m going to bed!”
“So guess what!? I didn’t hear it!”
The story that Bill never got to hear involved a shock revelation from Selwood pre the 2022 grand final… he wanted to brush his teeth.
“That is the shittest story I’ve ever heard!”
Looking back, JB realised maybe he shouldn’t have put as much into it.
“Memo to self… I should have heard that story first.”
