The Ruben’s frontman Sam Margin joined Triple M’s Rush Hour to discuss the upcoming Mushroom 50 event.
Margin was posed the question about his favourite Michael Gudinski memory and it didn’t disappoint.
“It was on Australia Day, we were playing at the tennis,” Margin said.
GUDINSKI’S AUS OPEN HEIST:
“He was at the tennis with us in Melbourne.”
“He said: Just pick me up out the front, I’ve got to go grab some things. And pick me up in the tour van.”
“He runs out and he’s kind of hobbling. He looks like a cowboy, kind of hobbling real weird.”
“Jumps into the van looking all suss. And then proceeds to pull out three Heineken bottles that snuck out of the tennis to start drinking them in the car!”
