North Melbourne today announced that veteran ruckman Todd Goldstein wouldn’t be a the club in 2024.
Former North Melbourne president James Brayshaw & senior journalist Jay Clark reacted to the news on the Rush Hour with JB & Billy.
“I’m a surprised by it. I don’t like this Jim, to be honest,” Clark said.
GOLDSTEIN DEPARTS NORTH:
JB said would have kept Goldstein at Arden Street for another year after being a solid contributor in 2023.
“I’m a huge fan. I love him as a bloke. I think he’s been a wonderful player for North. And I do think he would have been worth going around for one more year,” Brayshaw said.
Jay Clark suggested Essendon would be a likely suitor for Goldstein, when the 35 year-old could link up with his former coach Brad Scott in a hybrid coaching/playing role.
