New Aussie cricket cult hero Jake Fraser-McGurk joined the Rush Hour with JB & Billy today — and almost immediately dropped a Todd from Barwon Heads reference!
First he started by calling Bill “Fat” and then went straight into the Todd reference!
“I listen to the Rush Hour way too much, I know everything,” young Rooster said.
“I was gonna say I’m Todd from Barwon Heads!”
Fraser-McGurk joined the Rush Hour – with Lehmo filling in for JB – off the back of an eye-catching 41 off 18 against the West Indies at Manuka Oval yesterday.
We can already tell we’re gonna like young Rooster — almost as much as the Triple M Cricket crew did yesterday calling that explosive knock that included five fours and three sixes.
Check out our call of that blitzkrieg here:
Fraser McGurk joined the Triple M Cricket crew after (what there was of) play yesterday, and told us how he came to be nicknamed Rooster.
On the Rush Hour today, Fraser-McGurk also addressed when Ricky Ponting joined the show and said that he sees “something special” in the young power-hitter when he was first picked for the ODI squad.
Rooster also spoke about being bitten by a monkey during the under-19 World Cup, making his international debut, slamming huge sixes and more.
