ROO’S GATHER ROUND MAIL:
Roo said rumours are swirling about a boxing event with ex-footballers on Gather Round to add to the weekend’s festivities.
“(The Pelligra Group) are going to work with some international boxing promoters, as well as the Government to have a boxing night the night before Gather Round kicks off on Wednesday the 3rd of April.
“They are gonna have several undercard fights of ex-AFL footballers.
“They have got fights locked in, players are contracted to be fighting in the undercard of this night.”
2024 Gather Round is set to begin with Adelaide vs Melbourne on Thursday, April 4th.
