After coming out of retirement to help out the Sorrento Sharks, Daisy Thomas has announced the VAFA team that he’s set to run out with this weekend – but not before he gets transferred by the Sharks…
“I am a nice guy, went down at Sorrento and got paid nothing,” Daisy Thomas claimed on the Midweek Rub.
“So I went to training last night, Ive got a sore knee and a sore ankle already.
“I think I’m just going to peruse the halfback flank and try get about 40.”
Daisy hasn’t quite cemented his debut on Saturday though, needing clearance from the league due to any variety of factors including stolen apparel or character issues.
“If any of my references do get a call, I wasn’t involved in that fight out the front of the nightclub in 2009. That’s all hearsay.”
