Daisy Thomas and Damian Barrett have debated the booing and media scrutiny of Jason Horne-Francis, and if anyone should be held responsible for his treatment.
DAISY AND DAMO CLASH:
Daisy leapt to the defence of Horne-Francis after he was booed on Saturday night in Adelaide, drawing on his own experiences after leaving Collingwood to play for Carlton.
“I wasn’t able to go out and play good football [at Carlton],” he admitted on Triple M’s Midweek Rub.
“The good news for Jason Horne-Francis is his ability is now to go out and play good football which we saw on the weekend in that fourth quarter.
“Hopefully there becomes a shift where the Power supporters can override the boos and the jeers that are coming.”
WATCH THE MIDWEEK RUB:
Damo wasn’t willing to heap any of the blame on media individuals for the treatment Horne-Francis has got since his decision to request a trade from North Melbourne.
“I don’t think anyone’s got an agenda that they’re trying to overly complicate the matters with,” he said.
