Trailblazing American Mason Cox has revealed an interest in prolonging his AFL career, after being cut by Collingwood.
Chatting to Mick In The Morning, the 34-year-old admits he’ll pick up the phone if a second club comes calling.
Cox likened the delisting to a breakup, going through a range of emotions after 139 games across 10 years in the black and white
“At the beginning your shocked, then you go to upset, and then appreciative of the experience.”
The 2023 Premiership player admits he’s open to playing at another club.
“I definitely have more in me … I would love to be valued and help some younger people, while also playing myself.”
