Greg Blewett Reflects On The Passing Of Shane Warne 1 Year On

Triple M’s Greg Blewett has reminisced on the life of teammate and friend Shane Warne, a year on from the legendary Australian’s all-too-early passing.

Meeting Warnie as a teenager in the cricket academy, Blewy has some fond memories of the man that became a rockstar of the sporting world.

“He certainly packed a lot into his life.

“From the moment I met him, and I was at the cricket academy with Warnie so we were probably 18, 19 at the time. He just had this sort of rockstar personality straight away.

“He genuinely thought every single ball that he was going to get a wicket.”
