A Italian teacher who used sick leave, holiday time, and permits to attend conferences so she could avoid lessons has finally been sacked. Cinzio Paolina De Lio, who has been described as Italy’s worst employee, used sick leave, holiday time, and permits to attend conferences in order to avoid lessons.
Ali from Triple M’s Flan, Ali and Spida says Cinzio was meant to be teaching literature and philosophy at a secondary school near Venice but rarely showed up. When she did turn up to work she ignored pupils, made up lessons on the spot, and borrowed textbooks from children.
