Jay Clark provided an update surrounding the Matildas game being broadcast at the G, with a time set to switch off the game no matter the situation.

JAY PROVIDES AN UPDATE ON THE MATILDAS BEING BROADCAST AT THE G

“The news of this is that they are going to switch the Matildas off on the big screen about 7:10pm.”

“If it goes to extra-time, you’re gonna have to watch that as you say on the concourse, in the bars around the MCG or on your phone.”

Joey was happy with the decision, imagining a scenario where the Matildas would completely overtake the game.

“That’s what you’ve got to take into consideration. What if it’s mid-way through the first quarter, Melbourne’s got the footy and Sam Kerr scores the winner in extra-time and the whole MCG just erupts!”

“Poor Petracca, he’s trying to find a teammate inside 50!”
