Carlton’s concerns have just gone bad to worse with four of their midfielders expected to miss their must-win match against Melbourne next week.
Three of the Blues’ best, including captain Patrick Cripps, sustained injuries against its 26-point loss against Sydney on Friday night, while Adam Cerra faces suspension.
Jay Clark questions whether Carlton have crafted the right game plan to suit the talent tthey boast.
“They have the talent Carlton, but did they come into the season with the right game plan?” Jay said on Dead Set Legends Melbourne with Joey, Jay, Kath and Lehmo.
“And it gets more difficult because if you look at this midfield, they could come in with half of it next week against Melbourne.
“Four midfielders, four of their first-rate midfielders are going to missing.”
