Scott Pendlebury has revealed the new Collingwood recruit who he says has been “best on ground by far” in the Pies’ pre-season match sims on The Howie Games series Pendlebury: Beyond 400.
SCOTT PENDLEBURY NAMES THE “BEST ON GROUND” COLLINGWOOD RECRUIT:
“He just does everything really, really well,” Pendles said after a match sim.
“He’s a really good kick, clean hards, hard worker, plays both sides of the footy… [he] really reminded today in the match play of a Luke Ball.”
The Collingwood champion has joined forces with Mark Howard for Pendlebury: Beyond 400 to chronicle his 21st pre-season in an exclusive, behind the scenes 8-part podcast series for the Howie Games.
The series is full of personal audio diaries that give a revealing look at just how intense an AFL pre-season is.

Pendlebury later said the same new Pies face had dominated another pre-season internal hitout.
“Playing in the midfield, I was on his team,” Pendles said.
“It was only 15 minutes I think, but he was best on ground by a long way, which is really exciting.
“I think he’s gonna be an excellent midfielder.”
