Wade Graham joined Saturday Scrum and discussed that regardless of Jack Wighton’s situation, if the NRL can’t offer a better solution to the transfer system there is no reason to change.

Canberra Raiders have expressed their frustrations after star Jack Wighton signed for South Sydney Rabbitohs for 2024 and onwards.
Now, there are questions about the current system in place and if the NRL should adopt transfer windows where business can only be conducted within them.
‘I think players will be open for a change,’ stated Wade Graham.
‘But not change for change sake.’
Asked if it currently poses an issue, Graham disagreed.
‘From a players perspective, no.
‘We saw with Api Koroisau and [Viliame] Kikau sign for other clubs early last year and still go and win a competition [with Penrith Panthers].’
