The highly publicised drop in form after leading the competition after 11 rounds, missing finals, the noise surrounding Latrell Mitchell and the dramatic exit of legend and assistant coach Sam Burgess was always going to lead to a major revaluation at the club.
“According to reports more people have left Souths,” said Warner.
“It’s not just the players,
“We know Sam Burgess and John Morris (assistant coaches) have left.”
Candice Warner went onto explain that other key fixtures at the club have departed.
“Now physio Eddie Farah who has been at the club for 18-20 years he’s gone and taken his two understudies with him.
“Brian Stow, Head of Operations is also gone.”
The pressure will continue to fall on head coach Jason Demetriou as he has to steady the ship in 2024.
The expectations on a club like South Sydney Rabbitohs is large and another poor season may not be enough to save his job.
