According to Michael Chammas on Sydney Morning Herald, Luai has been given an 850k offer per season, a 50k bump from the original offer, to keep him until the end of 2026.

If Luai were to accept he’d be paid the same as fellow superstars Dylan Edwards and Isaah Yeo, though Luai can fetch up to offer past the million dollar mark should he choose to find a new home in 2025.

Luai has stated his desire to remain at his hometown club, though still wants to explore other possibilities which he will be able to from November 1.

“I still think he will test the open market but his best footy is alongside Nathan Cleary.”

Whilst Dell added, “if I’m him I’m taking it for two more years,” stated Sailor.

“He’s got two or three more contracts in him.”
