Olympic Gold Medallist Leisel Jones has revealed that she still feels imposter syndrome when standing among other sport greats, despite being considered as one of the greatest female swimmers in the world.
Jones asked Queensland NRL legend Jonathan Thurston in an interview on The Rush Hour with Leisel Jones, Liam & Dobbo, how he felt about being inducted into the Sport Australia Hall of Fame, revealing her ongoing struggles.
“I remember walking into the room and thinking, oh wow – and you talk to all these people and you think ‘Why are they talking to me? Why do they have any interest?’” said Jones.
