NSW Minister of Sport Steve Kamper joined The Rush Hour with Gus, Jude & Wendell and couldn’t be happier about UFC’s partnership with the State Government.

Sydney will host three UFC events over the next four years in a major deal, starting with UFC 293 in September this year.
It will be the first event hosted in the Harbour City since 2011 and Kamper is very excited.
‘I probably didn’t appreciate how popular the sport is, it’s a big thing for NSW, I’m pumped about it,’ said Kamper.
‘It’s worth tens and tens of millions of dollars and it showcases our city as well.
‘Whenever they hold an event it sells out instantly, it’s amazing.
‘It’s a no brainer for NSW expenditure.’
