“The Structure Isn’t There” Weidler On Why Jarome Luai Won’t Be Wests Tigers Saviour

Danny Weidler shared his concerns over Jarome Luai’s impending move to Wests Tigers on Footy Talk’s Journos Show alongside Michael Chammas.

The latter stated that the current three-time reigning premiership winning five-eighth will relish the opportunity post his Penrith Panthers career, but Weidler is more worried about what the Tigers can offer Luai.

“It’s a great signing,” said Weidler.

“But it doesn’t feel at this moment the structure is there for him to be the brilliant player that he is.

“He needs blokes to take a bit of heat out of the big blokes who are going to try and get him.”
