Dolphins’ Tom Gilbert has revealed that Wayne Bennett has banned the team from travelling to Bali.
Gilbert revealed Triple M Breakfast with Marto, Margaux and Dan that Bennett “specifically said (no) Bali” for their Round 11 bye.

“We’re not allowed to go to Bali. It was definitely on the cards for some boys, but Wayne (said no)…” Gilbert said.
The Newcastle Knights copped a lot of controversy when Knights members flew to Bali in their Round 10 bye rather than staying to train, after being flogged 43-12 by the Parramatta Eels the week prior.
The Knights surprised all to return from Bali to achieve an historic game for the team against the Titans, scoring more than 45 points for the first time since Round 16 in 2023.
