Cronulla legend and Triple M NRL favourite Wade Graham announced during the week that the 2023 NRL season would be his last, ahead of his 250th first-grade game for the Sharks.
On Triple M NRL’s The Saturday Scrum, Aaron Woods, David Riccio and Ben Te’o reflected on Graham’s retirement announcement and the celebrations surrounding his 250th Sharks game.
Woods shared his delight for his former teammate and close friend, and how Graham’s milestone match panned out.
“I’m just so happy for him,” Woods said.
“To see him get a try, to do it in front of his partner and his two kids, it’s just something I know he really would’ve loved.”

“He [paid] tribute to almost every person in the room,” Riccio said.
“That’s probably the measure of the man, to be honest.
“He has shown respect for everyone that’s helped him get to this point in time.”
