Brent Read joined The Rush Hour with Gus, Jude & Wendell and gave an update on the Penrith Panthers hopes of re-signing Taylan May amidst more salary cap pressure.

“They’ve prioritised Taylan May.

“They prioritised Izack Tago, they’ve got him locked away.

“May was the next bloke off the ranks and they’ve put an offer ($1.5m over three years).

“He’s a valuable member to [the Panthers] but he’s probably more valuable to other clubs.

“Penrith simply don’t have the money to keep all those guys.
