David Riccio has predicted a series of big-name player movements to begin later this year, after NRL contract negotiations for Season 2025 open up on November 1.
Speaking on The Saturday Scrum on Triple M NRL, Riccio said he expects to see some ‘significant headlines’ regarding the movement of some big names, specifically those forming part of their team’s spine.
“There’s some players [who are out of contract at the end of 2024] that can do jobs that weaker clubs might take a punt on,” he said.
“But it’s the top tier of Jarome Luai, Tommy Dearden, [Luke] Keary, we could get some real movement.”
