Both Wade Graham and Aaron Woods were asked about their most clutch former teammates.
‘The one that stands out for me is James Maloney,’ said Graham of his former Cronulla Sharks teammate.
‘Game on the line, field goal or kick from the sideline, he’s the man,
‘He could’ve missed all his goals that night but the one on the sideline to win the game, Jimmy would kick.’
Whilst Woodsy turned the clock back to a Wests Tigers cult hero.
‘For me, it’d be Pat Richards.
‘He’s got the nickname Iceman, he gave it to himself.
‘Every time we needed a kick to the win the game we could rely on Patty.
‘Never forget we played the Titans Round 1, in 2015… [it almost] got to golden point.
‘He’s just smoked it from 45m out.
‘He was doing the Fox commentary afterwards and he came in and said “boys, call me the Iceman.”
