NSW Blues crushed Queensland Maroons to level the series at 1-1 and Pearce had much praise for the x-factor off the Blues’ bench, Spencer Leniu.
“How good is he.” emphasised Pearce.
“His leg speed, I just think it’s just priceless.
“You’ve always needed leg speed off the bench in big games.
“He’s the perfect model of what you need off the bench now.”
