As Madge gets ready for his maiden game as a head coach in State of Origin, there are growing whispers that the 2014 NRL Premiership winning coach is desperate to get back into club land.
Though, Maguire evidently respects his duties at the helm of his state’s side, though the Eels are very eager to find Brad Arthur’s replacement after his sacking.
“Parramatta aren’t going to wait around another six weeks to work out who’s going to be their coach,” said Chammas.
“He’s got a decision to make because if he does he’s going to have to do it during the Origin series.
“If he wins Game 1, what’s going to be the noise around Madge?
