The Eels original list of candidates for the role included Jason Ryles, Josh Hannay, Jason Demetriou, Michael Chieka and current interim head coach Trent Barrett.
Reports earlier this week revealed the race is now down to just two; Jason Ryles & Josh Hannay.
Ryles and Hannay remain the leading contenders ahead of the second round of interviews before announcing their new coach in July.
