Triple M’s Mark Geyer has detailed his recent sit down chat with NSW Blues coach Michael Maguire.

Since getting the role ‘Madge’ has been rallying the state of NSW meeting with ex-players and coaches ahead of the Origin series.
MG sat down with Madge and the ‘Wild Panther’ revealed the NSW coach pulled out a Blues jersey at the table and asked him what it meant to him.
“Straight away I went oh my goodness,” MG told Triple M.
“I see emotion, I see brotherhood, I see toughness because I know how hard it is to wear that jersey.”
MG represented the NSW Blues on three occasions and is involved in arguably one of the most iconic Origin moments of all time.
In 1991, in the pouring rain, at the old Sydney Football Stadium, MG went toe-to-toe with the Immortal Wally Lewis.
Incredibly last year, Wally joined MG and made an incredible admission about the famous confrontation in the lead up to the 2023 series.
